Day 1 : Bangalore

1500 hrs : Reporting for registration at Taj West End.
1600 hrs : Have a leisure walk at lush gardens of the Taj.
1700 hrs : Hi-Tea and snacks.
1730 hrs : Presentation on the tour (Splendor of the South).
1800 hrs : Witness a Cultural Performance.
1845 hrs : Pay a visit to the ISKCON Temple.
2015 hrs : Arrive at the Yeshwanthpur railway station.

Day 2 : Chennai - Mamallapuram

0730 hrs : Arrive at the central railway station of Chennai.
0800 hrs : Breakfast aboard.
1000 hrs : Disembark and leave for Mamallapuram.
1130 hrs : Arrival at Mamallapuram. Sightseeing tour across Mamallapuram.
1330 hrs : Lunch at Radisson Blu Temple Bay Hotel.
1600 hrs : Visit the Shore Shiva Temple post Hi-tea.
1700 hrs : Take on a road journey for Puducherry.
1830 hrs : Arrival at Puducherry Onboard dinner.

Day 3 : Pondicherry

0800 hrs : Breakfast.
1000 hrs : Leave for Auroville Ashram. Go for sightseeing and shopping. Visit Matra Mandir.
1330 hrs : Lunch at the Sarovar Promenade Hotel.
1500 hrs : Embark the train.
1700 hrs : Go for a visit at Aurobindo Ashram and the Ganesha Temple.
1900 hrs : Back to the train for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 : Thanjavur - Trichy

0730 hrs : Arrive at Tanjavur railway station.
0800 hrs : Breakfast.
1000 hrs : Visit Brihadeshwara Temple (World Heritage Site). Buy stuffs from the emporium.
1400 hrs : Have lunch at Ideal River View Resort.
1600 hrs : A road journey to Trichy.
1800 hrs : Visit Sri Rangam Temple in Trichy.
1930 hrs : Embark The Golden Chariot for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 : Madurai

0800 hrs : Breakfast.
1000 hrs : Visit the Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple in Madurai.
1130 hrs : Visit the 1000- pillared temple and the city museum.
1300 hrs : Embark the train for lunch.
1500 hrs : Visit to the Gandhi Memorial Museum.
1600 hrs : Back to the train for relaxation.
1800 hrs : Enjoy the Light and Sound show at Thirumalai Nayak Palace.
1930 hrs : Onboard dinner and comfortable overnight stay.

Day 6 : Kanyakumari - Kovalam

0500 hrs : Disembark the train to have a sunrise view.

1530 hrs : Arrival at the Kocchuveli station.

Day 7 : Kochi - Alappuzha

1000 hrs : Disembark the train and move towards Alleppey Jetty. Board a houseboat and cruise across the Punnamada Lake.

1430 hrs : Move towards Fort Kochi.
1530 hrs : Arrival at Fort Kochi. Go for sightseeing.
1800 hrs : Arrive at Ernakulum South railway Station and board the luxury train.
